Color Theory Class

Just finished part of my homework for the Color Theory Class I am taking with the yahoo group StitchMAP. I am really learning a lot. Anyway, we had to find cool colors, warm colors and a mix of both and then stitch a flower. I chose to do cross stitch as my needlework method. I used to do a lot of cross stitch and then got tired of it and moved on to something else. I might pick it back up again! I had fun with it.

I've never done a colour theory class, and dont actually give it much thought. Looking back at some of my quilts - maybe I should! )

Beautiful Cross Stitch! I used to do a little but realised I dont have the patienece for anything that small.

I don't give colour much thought either, however, after saying that I do have a colour wheel that I consult every once in awhile. I did a lot of counted cross stitch when I was working, it was easy to pick and do a bit and then put down again.
Love your flowers.
