Thanks y'all

First off, I want to say thank you to all of you who gave me support while I was venting about work. Thanks also for the tips on making each day a little easier! Today was a better day, mostly due to the support I got from all of you.

Thanks also for saying that my sweet little girl looks pretty. She was imitating a model in the photo and the dog was trying to get her attention - that is why she was cracking up.

The above photo is one of my Mother. Not too bad for a woman who just turned 79 this month. Next year for her 80th, I figure I will give her a big party - then send her off to the old folks home! (Just joking Mom!!) Although my Mom drives me crazy, I love her a lot!

I made this gardening apron for my Mom as a Christmas present. She is a Master Gardener and is hoping to use it when she prunes roses at the city rose garden.

The Baby and I are lovers of Gnomes (can't wait for the movie to come out!), so I made her this apron with traveling gnomes on it. I love the Michael Miller fabric. Can't believe I didn't buy enough to make myself one!

These two photos show the amount of snow we had about 10 days ago. Can you believe we didn't have any snow on the ground the night before? As you can see by looking at the photos of Big, the snow is up to her knees! (She would kill me if she knew I posted this photo - so don't tell her!!) Needless to say, we did not go to work that day!

Well, I am off to work on the Quilt for Kids quilt. I have about half of it finished and hope to complete the top tonight.

Pin It Now!

I'm so squealing on you to Big. Just kidding. I blew the picture to 1000 times bigger and I still cant see her face so it's all good. She's still incognito.

That's one cool apron! Pretty fabric.

Looks like your Mom has passed down excellent genes to you too. Neither of you look your age.

The aprons are wonderful. I would like to make a couple of the gardening ones for myself. One for the garden and one to hold clothes pegs at the line. PS> we don't get snow here so are able to use the clothes line all year round. Your mother is soooo young looking.
