MIA

I can't believe it has been so long since I last posted. So many things were happening in my life, that I felt blogging had to go to the bottom of the list. I am finally feeling like myself and will begin to blog on a regular basis again.

Here are the highlights of my life over the last few months:

1.) Big got a promotion
2.) The baby went to South America to study for 5 months
3.) We sold our house in West Virginia
4.) We moved to Virginia (just south of Washington D.C.)
5.) We lived in a hotel for two months while trying to buy a house
6.) We moved into our new house in the beginning of November
7.) The baby came home
8.) The baby's boyfriend and his family came to visit for Thanksgiving
9.) Christmas celebration!
10.) My Mother turned 80 in January and the baby and I traveled to Texas to celebrate

At times I was sane, at times I was insane. I was not always a nice person to be around.

I realize now that I should have continued to blog. My blog friends are supportive and non-judgemental. I just didn't have the energy. There were days that it took all I had to get out of bed.

I feel as close to "normal" as I have ever been and am ready to reconnect! I look forward to getting back in touch with every one and hopefully making some new friends!

Pin It Now!

Woo hoo. It doesn't matter whether you kept blogging, just glad to see you are back and in one piece!
Sounds like you were very very busy.

Welcome back! All of that sounds exhausting indeed--those are a lot of high stress things to happen in a year! Glad you're coming out of it and deciding to join blogland again :)

Welcome back! Most of us do take breaks...

I work in the west-of-DC part of NOVA :) Personally, I'm a much bigger fan of VA than WV - or any state than WV. My in-law family is from WV and I went to WVU and I detest the state. I know you're not from there, so I don't feel quite as bad saying it! My feelings about WV are so strong I can never help expressing them!!!

OK, after that little rant, sorry, I am glad to hear of your promotion, and your mom's awesome birthday, and your daughter's flourishing relationship!

:)

Sounds like stress worthy stuff! Blogging can become one of those stress causing things when we are not in the right mood....so glad you are feeling more like yourself again!

Ok, I'll go get comfy and grab a snack for when you come back to chat about what's going on in Cynthia Land :)
