Strawberry Festival

Buckahnnon, West Virginia is known for it's annual Strawberry Festival. It is also known as the meth. capital of West Virginia, but we will talk about that later.

One of the things that happens during the Strawberry Festival is a quilt competition and show. I decided to enter the mini quilt that I made for my Mom.

I am not hoping to win anything, I am just hoping to have some constructive criticism. I also think it will be fun to see something I made hanging out with a bunch of other quilts. I will take photos and share the outcome with all of you.

Hope you all have a great day!

Cynthia, I have been following your blog for a few weeks and just now realized you live in Buckhannon. My son and his family live there, and my husband grew up there. Do you live in town or out in the county? We love it there. We're actually coming to the Festival this weekend! You can email me back so info won't go worldwide! :)

How fun! It is always exciting to see something you've made on display somewhere other than your own home...haha!

Wow! This give me and Heidi a reason to come down to the Festival. Will we be allowed to pick your quilt (open judging)? What day of the Festival is the quilt show and where is it going to be held?
