Chance of Flooding
Today's forecast calls for clouds, humidity, rain and a chance of flooding. Do you think I chose the appropriate pair of jeans for the day?
These are actually one of my favorite pairs of jeans. I don't wear them often because they are so short! Damn my long legs!

I'd call those 3/4 pants, and they're really trendy for summer, so you go girl.
I have to hem all of my pants...I could send you the bit I cut off and you could add them to all of your pants. LOL

a pair of gumboots might protect your jeans from the water if it floods. I have a pair of those and although I wear them, I sometimes wonder if they look wrong on someone my age.
Funny post! I like my long legs, just don't like it when I can't find pants to cover them, LOL! I wish slacks came with a deeper hem than 1 1/4" these days...flood pants really stand out at the office!
...and the footwear for a rainy day...classic!
I'm never in closed toe shoes unless I'm exercising or at a theme park (my mom had a rule about wearing sneakers to places like that....guess I never outgrew it. Something about losing a shoe on a ride or such)...and I don't exercise...haha!
