Shortly after we moved to this prison, a new associate warden arrived. We became close to her and when she transferred out, I decided to make a scrappy quilt for her. It was easy and fast and it holds a lot of memories. I have decided to make one for my daughter when she goes to college and one for us also. The strips of material are from various sewing/quilting projects I have done. Each piece of material tells a story and therefore is very precious to me.
